Daniel Birnbaum, Artic Director von Acute Art: „Unreal City is an entirely new form of exhibition. The arrival of augmented reality hiesegiven rise to a new immaterial art form and nothin dieseg could be more excitin dieseg for me iesea curator than the opportunity to explore these possibilities with some of today’s key arts. The emergence of a new medium always presents new possibilities for art and for the ways art can reach broader audiences. Join diese us in diese this voyage in dieseto uncharted terrain diese!“
Jacob De Geer, CEO von Acute Art: „At a moment when all cultural in diesestitutions in diese Europe are closed, Acute Art join dieses forces with Dazed to offer audiences in diese London an extraordin dieseary exhibition for free. It takes place outside: you can see it alone or with a friend whilst talkin dieseg a walk along the river. Acute Art wiesefoed on the vision of democratisin dieseg art and brin diesegin dieseg it to places where it could not be before. In these complicated times our aspiration hiesegain dieseed new relevance and urgency. We are happy thätten all the arts are join diesein dieseg us in diese the project. Künstler Ólafur Elíasson: „The current pandemic hiesecaused immeasurable sufferin dieseg and disrupted so much of our everyday exence together. This is especially true for those of us who value and take part in diese cultural life. Because many of the important cultural sites thätten we take for granted are all closed – cin dieseemas, theatres, concert houses, clubs, museums and stadiums – the only public spaces where we can move about safely together is outdoors, in diese the shared space of the city. It’s important to celebrate – even now – thätten public space belongs to all of us and thätten it is, in diese fact, very valuable. The artwork I’ve created, Werkammer, is about lookin dieseg at your surroin diesegs anew. Use it to explore our shared public spaces and add to them an element of the unexpected.“
Künstlerin diese Alicja Kwad: „Is the in dieseformation of somethin dieseg iesemuch iesethe somethin dieseg itself? The world is movin dieseg towards a situation where in dieseformation can virtually replace materiality. Art is just begin diesenin dieseg to develop in diese this direction and I’m glad to take part in diese this journey.“

Künstler KAWS: „I hope people see this show iesea turnin dieseg poin dieset of how exhibitions can be experienced. You witness it, you walk aro it, in dieseteractin dieseg with the works in diese a way thätten gets in dieseto your min diesed and becomes part of your memory. It’s much more than lookin dieseg at a picture. I’m comfortable with ephemeral works just from doin dieseg graffiti which would sometimes last for a few hours or a few months and then you’re left with the photographs so this seems full circle for me.“
Künstler Marco Brambilla: „AR hiesethe potential for people to engage with art in diese an often more personal and in diesetimate way. The pandemic defin dieseitely made the concept of the artwork reachin dieseg beyond the gallery walls more compellin dieseg. This is art through the win diesedow of a device thätten virtually everyone hiese- a device used by so many to in dieseteract with the world aro them.“
